Commercial/Advertising
If your company or organisation needs to promote a product or brand proposition, there are a multitude of approaches and styles to creating engaging videos. We can figure out which is best for you.
Documentary
Documentaries can vary from short micro-docs right up to feature-length films and can vary hugely in approach and style. James has a particular interest in producing documentary films and this more natural style of filmmaking can suit a wide range of video projects.
Promotional
A high-quality, targeted, engaging promotional film is worth its weight in gold. If your company or organisation is looking to promote an event or a new product launch, together we can create something to get your message across succinctly and help create a buzz.
Corporate
If your company or organisation needs to offer a corporate message to clients, potential clients, industry partners, an internal video for staff, or even a full-scale company overview – James can create something that truly engages.
Drone Filming
Incorporating aerial shots (sparingly) into a film/video can really lift the engagement and production values. James works with licensed & insured operators as and when necessary for the individual project.
Pricing: Every project is bespoke, therefore a full understanding of the objectives is needed before any costs can be offered – this is why there is no pricing listed on this website.
About James
James is a filmmaker based in the Channel Island of Guernsey and offers a global service creating engaging, high-quality films.
James on location
Over the past six years his work has taken him around the world producing a variety of content for clients.
James graduated from Portsmouth University in 2009 at the age of 27, gaining a 1st class BA (Hons.) degree in TV & Film Production, winning a Royal Television Society documentary award in the same year for the short film Mark.
His interest in filmmaking began at the age of 14, producing BMX extreme-sports videos. Documenting this fast-action sport proved a fantastic learning curve and taught him fundamental skills that he uses to this day.
Although he still loves to shoot action sports, he has diversified to cover a wide range of content including documentary, promotional and corporate work. He always strives to convey engaging narrative while keeping production values high.
He became a full-time filmmaker in the summer of 2014 and soon began production on his first feature-length, award-winning documentary. Sea Donkey, which was released in 2017, and has seen worldwide sales.
In his spare time James enjoys swimming and in 2016 he swam the English Channel.
